This is your first step as a professional diver, so you want to ensure that you have the best start possible to your dive career. We don’t believe in offering silver, gold or platinum choices with varying degrees of quality; instead we give you the best possible course as standard.

Our Divemaster program will lay solid foundations for you to build upon whether you want to travel the world freelancing as a dive pro, work on liveaboards guiding divers, manage a resort in a remote destination or continue your education to become an Assistant Instructor or Instructor. Maybe you just want to improve your own skills, knowledge and experience as a diver. Our personal approach by highly qualified staff gives you the real-world training essential for success in the dive industry.

Sundive is the only dive shop in Byron Bay that holds a PADI 5-Star status, with pathways to Assistant Instructor and Instructor. Ask to see our awards from PADI for our long-term commitment to quality diver training and outstanding contribution to the association!

Structure

Three modules: knowledge development, waterskills development, and practical assessment.
