Photo Shoot-Out 2012

7th - 11th June 2012 - $25,000 in Prizes to be Won!

Building on the success of the last 2 years, the Sundive Photo Shoot-Out 2012, promises to be the biggest and best yet! The Photo Shoot-Out is an underwater photography and videography competition where photos must be taken at the Julian Rocks while diving or free-diving with Sundive. For those that have never dived the Julian Rocks, the underwater photo/video opportunities have been rated among the best in Australia. Photos from the Julian Rocks have been awarded localy and internationally and continue to draw interest from professional photographers.

With more categories, new judges, and well over $25,000 worth of prizes to be won (!!) it's 5 days of action packed underwater excitement. New categories will include a Master's Category**, Black and White, Themed Category, and a Viewer's Choice!

The events will take place over the long weekend in June. Events include the welcome BBQ at Sundive, photo clinics by professional photographers, marine biology lectures, and the Awards Ceremony. 

Photographs/videos will be accepted that have been taken on dives from June 2nd , 3rd  and 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th. This gives more people the opportunity to spend more time underwater. We are expecting the Grey Nurse Sharks to be around at this time!

Sundive plans to have all 3 boats in operation for the event! Seats are expected to fill up quickly so register early to reserve your spot!
