Whale watching

Snorkelling/Whalewatching Tours are available daily.
We take our snorkellers to the most protected and sheltered areas of the Julian Rocks Marine Park. Here the depths are shallow and you will see a large diversity of marine life. There are 500+ recorded species of fish in addition to our resident turtles and rays.
Our trips always include a 50- 60min snorkel session at the Julian Rocks.
When we see whales and dolphins in the protection of the bay we will also spend time doing free whale and dolphin watching.
Whale season is June to November. At the beginning of the season the whales migrate north to give birth. They then return south to the Antarctic waters. During this migration the whales often stop and pass through the bay. This gives us the prefect opportunity to spend some time with them.
    Note:-
  • Sea conditions are not always suitable or comfortable for whalewatching.
  • Whale movements are unpredictable so we cannot always guarantee whale or dolphin sightings.
  • We will always ensure you have a good time snorkelling with our amazing marine life.
